We studied XACTLY's annual attainment and sales rep ranking features and discovered significant usability issues, including complex navigation and inefficient data entry processes. It was important to design an intuitive navigation menu and automate data capture to enhance user experience. We also found that users struggled with interpreting data visualizations, so we prioritized creating clear, interactive charts and enabling dashboard customization. By implementing real-time feedback and personalized insights, we aimed to increase user satisfaction and improve decision-making efficiency.

We evaluated the sales leader's spend scorecard and found that users may be struggling with data access and interpretation. To address this, we designed a straightforward interface with real-time updates and personalized alerts to improve budget management.

The alignment between Plan Designers and upstream  decisions (or downstream impacts) posed significant challenges in ensuring comprehensive plans for a rapidly evolving market.

It was important to design solutions that provide domain-specific benchmarks to rationalize the pay and performance implications. Xactly understood these inherent challenges and offered collaboration to design solutions that connect upstream planning and forecasting with downstream plan administration.

Designing for Xactly also meant incoporaring feature robust reporting with potential commission costs for faster modeling, industry-specific benchmarking for competitiveness, and seamless plan administration for efficient operationalization.
